An Athletic Tradition
Erskine offers intercollegiate, intramural, and recreational athletic programs to aid in each student’s overall personal development. In addition to intramural and recreational teams, our students compete in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and Conference Carolinas, fielding 15 teams:
NCAA Division II Men’s Athletics
• Baseball
• Basketball
• Cross Country
• Golf
• Soccer
• Tennis
• Volleyball
NCAA Division II Women’s Athletics
• Basketball
• Cross Country
• Golf
• Lacrosse
• Soccer
• Softball

• Volleyball
To support these programs, Erskine maintains intramural fields, two gymnasiums, eight tennis courts, and fields for softball, baseball, and soccer. The Galloway Physical Activities Center and Bell Sports Complex offers additional athletic facilities for students of all skill and interest levels.
Since the early 1900’s, Erskine student-athletes have competed hard on the playing fields, studied in a rigorous academic environment, promoted the Christian mission of the college, and given their time to community service projects.
Rigorous Academics
As one of the oldest and most prestigious church-related liberal arts college in the South, Erskine prizes academic rigor and Christian authenticity.
Authentically Christian Liberal Arts
Since it was established by the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARP) in 1839, Erskine College has been committed to the principle that facts and values–learning and faith–are inseparable.
A Great Destination
Erskine College is nestled into small, historic Due West, located in Abbeville County, South Carolina.
Intimate Atmosphere
At Erskine, our difference starts with our size. You can do things here you just can’t do at larger schools.
