Welcome from our Admissions Staff
Tim Rees,Dean of Enrollment
Greetings!I have the pleasure of serving as Dean of Enrollment at Erskine, which means I provide direction and guidance for the admissions and financial aid offices.
As a first-in-family college graduate, I can empathize with those who are trying to navigate the hurdles of going to college because I have experienced them myself.
We hope to see you on our campus soon to find out more about how we can assist you with your college choice and why Erskine might be a good fit for you.
Kassi Chou, Coordinator of Events and Operations
Hello, friends! I am the Coordinator of Events and Operations here at Erskine. My home will always be where I grew up in Holland, Michigan; however, I am also fond of a little town called Upland, Indiana, where I graduated from Taylor University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies. My husband and I moved to Anderson, South Carolina in August of 2015 and we are enjoying getting to know what life in the south is all about! We have a precious and spunky goldendoodle puppy named Elvis who I love way too much (if I’m being honest). I can’t live without chocolate and I love all things water – swimming, beaching, wakeboarding, waterskiing, etc. I can’t wait to talk with you and I hope to see you at one of our on campus events to experience all Erskine has to offer you.
Chris Caldwell, Data Coordinator
Hey everyone! I serve as the Data Coordinator and International Admissions Counselor here at Erskine College. I am a 2014 graduate of Erskine where I majored in History and minored in Business Administration. I grew up in the nearby city of Anderson, SC, but now live in Due West with my wife Rachel (who is also an Erskine graduate). While at Erskine, I competed for the Flying Fleet as a student-athlete on the Men’s Golf team and was able to get involved in organizations such as SGA, Student Ambassadors, and the Freshman Orientation Staff. I was also able to travel to China and study Ancient History and Archeology alongside my professors. I owe much of who I am today to the wholesome education and experiences that I received at Erskine. Due West truly is a place unlike any other, and I can’t wait to talk to you and see if you will call this little town your home away from home!
Kasey McNair, Admissions Counselor
Hey, y’all! I am an Admissions Counselor here at Erskine. I grew up in Abbeville, South Carolina, about 12 miles away from Due West. I graduated from Erskine College in 2017 with a degree in Mathematics and Business Administration. During my four years at Erskine, I worked in the Admissions Office as an Ambassador and student worker and fell in love with working with students and helping them make their college decision. I was also involved in the Choraleers and Bella Voce music ensembles, as well as Judicial Council, VASE, and EEB while at Erskine. My favorite things to do are read, crochet, and travel everywhere I can! I also love all things pink and the beach is my favorite place to go! I can’t wait to chat with you about Erskine and help you find your college home.
William Cooper, Admission’s Counselor
My name is William Cooper. I attended Erskine from 2009 until 2013, during which time I majored in History and was on the leadership team for Baptist Collegiate Ministries. After graduating, I spent two years teaching English in South Korea and then worked my way into college admissions. Now that I am back at my alma mater, I specifically assist Humanities majors, as well as undeclared students. I very much see my position here as a ministry to help students determine if Erskine is a place where they can not only grow intellectually, but also enrich their relationship with Christ. Outside of work, my passions include reading, jogging, going on mission trips to Africa.
Kendra La Greca, Admission’s Counselor
Hey, guys! I’m so thankful to be an admissions counselor here at Erskine. I have lived right outside Due West for almost my entire life, and I’m so excited to work in a place that means so much to me. When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my husband, playing with my two goofy cats, and reading. I love to travel and explore new places, and I really enjoy painting even though I’m pretty horrible at it. As a recent graduate from Lander University, I love that I get to work with students as they make the transition from high school to college. If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call! I’m always happy to help.
