The Presidential Scholarship is named in honor of the presidents who have served Erskine College since the school’s founding in 1839. It is the most prestigious undergraduate scholarship offered at Erskine. The scholarship covers tuition, room, board, and fees for the winners (minus any state, federal, and outside scholarships or grants); is renewable for a total of four years of study; and is valued at approximately $185,000. Students who apply for the Presidential Scholarship are also considered for the Solomon Award, which covers tuition for a four-year period.
